This is a section most people - especially our missionary preparing sons - are familiar with, but the last time I read it, I wondered what it really meant to serve God with all your heart, might, mind and strength. So I looked the words up in the dictionary. And that helped me. Maybe it will help you.
Heart: love, innermost feelings, courage, character, inclinations, affections
Might: power, authority, energy, intensity
Mind: conscious mental events, intention, desire, disposition
Strength: strong and enduring, physical prowess
