Repentance
Doctrine & Covenants 19
Repentance is Greek for "to have a new mind." (Elder Eyring)
"Canst thou be humble and meek and conduct thyself wisely?" Isn't that a great question from verse 41.
As we follow the counsel we find in this section:
repent
learn of me
listen to my words
walk in the meekness of my Spirit
pray vocally
pray always
declare glad tidings
trust in me
have faith
be baptized
receive the Holy Ghost
pay our debts
share with others
we'll gain that change of heart and mind and receive the blessing of peace.
