More Blessings

Doctrine & Covenants 59

We are blessed when we:

• have an eye single to the glory of God
• stand upon the land of Zion
• obey the gospel
• are faithful and diligent
• love God with all our heart, might, mind, and strength
• serve God
• love our neighbor
• thank the Lord in all things
• offer a sacrifice unto God, even a broken heart and a contrite spirit
• keep the Sabbath day holy, use it for a day of worship
• confess the hand of God in our lives
• keep the commandments
• do works of righteousness

The blessings include the good things of the earth, peace in this life, and eternal life later.
