A Voice of Gladness
Doctrine & Covenants 127-128
Sister Menlove, when she was serving as General Primary President, used the ending verses of these sections as a reminder to share the "voice of gladness" with others, particularly our children. The gospel really is the good news, and we should be excited about it. And one of the things that we should be excited about is that the sealing power has been restored and we have the opportunity to do temple work for our deceased ancestors, forming that eternal chain to bind us all to each other. It will take deligence and perseverance and patience, but it's exciting work.
